Twelve of 15 recovered, and 3 died. We observed temporally associated clinical improvement following initiation of baricitinib in 11 of the 15 (73.3%) patients. This improvement was characterized by a normalization of body temperature, a decline in inflammatory markers and oxygen requirements, and recovery. Two of the 15 (13.3%) developed secondary bacterial or fungal infections during prolonged ICU stays.
